St Nicholas Y.F.C and Ladies F.C Facilities [22 Sep @ 11:00pm]
Welcome to the Facilities webpage. It is our intention to better manage, upkeep and improve the facilities that we hold within the club. To this end we have introduced a new role within the club...the Facilities Manager. The person in this role is responcible for the following activities: - The overall upkeep and maintenance of our buildings - Organising Working Parties (dates and times) - Managing the use of the clubhouse As a new role within the club we have requested that it initially be taken on by Ian Reeves. This way we can ensure that an existing Committee Member is in the role and can easily report back to the committee during the role's infancy. Clubhouse Refurbishment [21 Apr @ 2:29pm]
The refurbishment is continuing albeit at a slower rate than anticipated. So much so that we will not be able to hold our April Full Coiuncil Meeting in the clubhouse as planned last month. The actual clubhouse is progressing nicely with all but the kitchen area being nearly finished. This is however disappointly as it should've been completed by now. The changing rooms and showers are another story with the vast majority of work remianing. The dividing walls are complete meaning that we now have four changings rooms divided into 2 by 2 and each pair of changing rooms have their own shower area. However, the tiling and decorating of these areas are no where near complete. As soon as we have a completion date we will endeavour to let everyone know.
Containers [21 Apr @ 2:34pm]
As actioned in the last Full Council Meeting, the two St Nicholas containers now both have new combination barrel locks. The day-to-day usage container with the nets, posts, corner flags and barriers in is the same number as the clubhouse. In an effort to keep down the number of incidents of lost items etc. we have agreed that only a small number of committee members will be informed of the combination number for the 'six-a-side' container. These people are: John Seymour, Dale Curtis, Ken Fish, Ian Reeves and Michelle Roberts.

As a club we actively encourage our members to use the clubhouse and changings rooms when required. Unfortunately, in the past things have gone missing or have been broken and not reported. In an attempt to stop these things happening we have instigated a simple booking process so that we know who is using the facilities, when and what for. Attached below is a form that you must complete and either send via e-mail or telephone through to Ian Reeves (ian@stdb.me.uk / 07831 677730). We can then record when you want to use the facilities and ensure that it is not double booked or left in a state that you wouldn't expect to find it in. A calendar of all the bookings made will be made available on the notice board within the clubhouse.
