With a much depleted side this was always going to be a difficult match.St Nicks were on the defensive from the start and avon scored after two minutes.A great save by Callum denied them a second after 5 minutes.In the 7th minute St Nicks were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty area which Jamie took only to see his shot crash against the bar.Jamie and Riley were now both struggling with illness and had to be replaced,this upset the balance of the team and avon took full advantage scoring in the 8th 11th 19th and 20th minute.
The second half was evenly matched even though St Nicks now had only 9 fit players and the sde was frequently being changed so that the players did not get too tired.In the 16th minute Kieran had a shot well saved. A minute later a clearance by Avon was quickly picked up by Rory who fired agreat shot into the top right hand corner

Game 2

Team Rory,Mitch,Sam,Matty,Kieran,Callum.Charlie

The second game was again well fought with Charlie who had played the whole of the first game battling tirelessly in midfield ,helping Matty and Sam try and break down the Avon defence.It was Avon however who managed the only goal of the half in the 6th minute.
The second half started well for St Nicks with Kieran shooting just wide after a good through ball from Sam.Avon managed to score again in the 2nd minute ,but St Nicks did not give up and kept the pressure on Avon .They should have pulled one back in the 6th minute but the shot from Sam stuck in the mud right on the line and was cleared.They did get the goal they had worked hard for in the 8th minute when Kieran picked up the ball just inside the Avon half and ran through powerfully and finished with a good shot.In the 12th minute Avon scored after a goalmouth scramble.Two minutes later they scored again ,but St Nicks still pressed forward and Sam was again unlucky in the 15th minute when his shot rebounded off the keeper but no-one was able to get to the loose ball .Sam was finally rewarded with a goal a minute later when he picked up the ball on the halfway line,easily beat the last defender and fired a shot past the keeper
